Who is behind it

Michel Posseth has been building professional software since 1998. More than 28 years of experience in .NET, from classic ASP and C# 1.0 to C# 14 and .NET 10. Founder of Posseth Software and GitHub MPCoreDeveloper. Ships open source libraries such as SafeWebCore and SharpCoreDB because real quality must be publicly verifiable.

What the focus is

Platform architecture, security-first web engineering, and production-grade .NET delivery. Razor Pages without jQuery, strict nonce-driven CSP, zero-allocation patterns, and pragmatic refactoring. Everything aimed at systems that remain reliable and maintainable for years under real load.

Engineering view

Great software is clearly designed, testable, observable, and strong in production. Quality lives in the structure: clear separation, explicit contracts, strong defaults. No magic, no hidden state, no 'works on my machine'. After 28 years the lesson is simple: the best code is code you do not have to explain to the next developer.

Why open source matters

Open source enforces rigor. Architecture decisions are publicly discussed and critically reviewed. Libraries such as SafeWebCore (A+ CSP) and SharpCoreDB (high-performance embedded SQL) are born from real pain points and deliver direct value beyond a single project. No marketing, no roadmap theater — only code that proves itself in production.

Experience

More than 28 years of sharp .NET decisions

1998 – 2010

Classic ASP, ASP.NET Web Forms, early C#. Foundation in performance, state management and production stability.

2010 – 2020

ASP.NET MVC, Web API, .NET Core. Focus on clean architecture, testability and security as a first-class citizen.

2020 – now

.NET 5–10, C# 9–14, Minimal APIs, Razor Pages. Strict CSP A+, zero-allocation, open source libraries and platforms that truly scale.
